DURBAN, South Africa (Saturday, 7 July, 2007) – If today’s action was anything to go by it will be a Australian/ Brazilian clash in tomorrow’s Final, with Brazil’s Jihad Khodr and Australian Josh Kerr obliterating their Round of 24 heats, during the 6-Star ASP World Qualifying Series Mr Price Pro, at Durban’s New Pier.


 

REDMAN- CARR DEFEATS WOODS TO WIN MR PRICE PRO

DURBAN, South Africa (Saturday, 7 July, 2007) – ASP World No. 8 Melanie Redman-Carr (Western Australia) captured her 11th ASP World Qualifying Series victory, winning the Women’s 5-Star Mr Price Pro WQS event at Durban’s New Pier, today.


 





Mr Price Team Rider Gary van Wierengen

Mr Price Team Rider Gary van Wierengen is the first surfer from the trials to secure himself a position in the Round of 192 in the 2007 Mr Price Pro. We caught up with him after his final trials heat, which he blasted apart with two excellent rides of 8.00 and 7.83.
