Bumper Crowds for Day One of the Mr Price Pro Ballito Beach Festival

The first day of the Mr Price Pro Ballito Beach Festival and Prime rated ASP Mr Price Pro Ballito surfing event attracted bumper crowds to Willards Beach in Ballito. An exciting mix of adrenaline pumping extreme sports, beach culture and lifestyle events, music and arts kept beach goers entertained. The legendary Brian Capper and his gravity-defying motorbike stunts proved to be a hit. The action continues tomorrow with fresh stunts from Capper, beach soccer and volley ball, together with dance displays and fashion shows. The Kids Corner offers face painting, Shayamanzi Waterballs, sandcastle building and a kiddies' beach dash. The Dolphin Coast Conservancy is offering free, guided beach walks from Willards Beach to Thompson's Bay open to all members of the public daily at 10.00am.

'The Africa Project" surfing documentary film which will be shown free of charge on a big screen on Thursday 5th July at 5.00pm at Willards Beach in Ballito with a night market on the same evening.

As in past years, the Mr Price Pro Ballito Festival will culminate in the much anticipated Mr Price Pro Ballito free music concerts at Salt Rock Beach. Music lovers can chill to the sounds of Gangs of Ballet, Wonderboom, the Ard Mathews Trio, Shadow Club, Aking, Crash Car Burn and Flash Republic on the 6th and party into the night with Toya Delazy, Lloyd Cele, is creamstix, Pascal & Pearce, Goodluck, Locnville and Dino Bravo on July 7.
